Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tailored Consulting Services is a local full-service for-impact agency dedicated to supporting community-based non-profit organizations and registered charities reach their strategic goals in governance, operations, fund development and community engagement.

We are also committed to supporting local social enterprises and small businesses build highly effective advertising campaigns for enhanced engagement with their communities.

Tailored Consulting Services acknowledges that it operates in Mi’kma’ki the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaw, Maliseet, and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaw and Maliseet title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. We also acknowledge that people of African descent have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years, and we honour and offer gratitude to those ancestors of African descent who came before us to this land.

The community-based approach we implement in our work ensures that members of racialized and marginalized communities feel welcomed and represented. We believe that diversity enriches our culture, and we embrace all ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities and expressions.
